I have been teaching elementary school in Boxford for 18 years. I started out as a third grade teacher at Spofford Pond School. After 15 wonderful years, I started a new adventure teaching second grade at Cole School. I am excited to start my fourth year in second grade!
I attended Westfield State University, and received my bachelor's degrees in early childhood education and psychology. I later received my master's degree in creative arts in learning, from Lesley University. I believe that a classroom should be a safe, nurturing, and fun-filled environment, where creativity, curiosity, and teamwork thrive.
I live in Byfield, Massachusetts with my husband Derek, two children, Donovan (age 11) and Erin (age 7) and our dog, Griffin. I love spending time at the beach whenever I can. Gardening and reading are a few of my favorite pastimes, and I have a passion for music and the arts. Lobster, chocolate, and anything fresh from the garden are some of my favorite things to eat.
